These terms govern your use of Bidhound at https://bidhound.xyz. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

What Bidhound is

Bidhound collects auction notices that banks and their agents already publish in public, and puts them in one searchable board. You can browse the board for free. A paid subscription adds email alerts when a lot matching a search you saved appears, when a reserve price is cut, or when a deposit deadline is about to close.

Accuracy, and what you must do before you bid

Listings are gathered automatically from public sources and are refreshed periodically. Between refreshes a lot may be withdrawn, its reserve price may change, its deadline may move, or its notice may be corrected. Automated collection can also misread a figure.

We give no warranty that any listing is accurate, current, complete or still live, and we do not independently inspect properties, verify titles, confirm encumbrances or check possession status.

Not advice

Nothing on Bidhound is legal, financial, tax, valuation or investment advice. Any indication of whether a lot looks cheap is a rough automated comparison, not a valuation. Bidding at a bank auction carries real risk, including title disputes, existing occupants and liabilities that pass to the buyer. Take your own professional advice.

Your account

Accounts are created by signing in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. One person, one account. Do not share credentials or resell access.

Subscription

The paid plan is Rs 1,999 a year, inclusive of GST, billed through Razorpay as a yearly recurring subscription that renews until you cancel. That is the whole amount you pay; there is nothing added at checkout. Browsing the board stays free. Refunds and cancellation are covered in our Refunds and Cancellations policy.

Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, bulk download, resell or redistribute the board.
• Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site.
• Do not use Bidhound to send unsolicited marketing to anyone named in a notice.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, without a refund where the breach is serious.

Availability

We aim to keep Bidhound running and its data fresh, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Upstream sources can change, rate limit us or go down, and alerts depend on email delivery we do not control. Service may be interrupted for maintenance.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bidhound is provided as is. We are not liable for any loss arising from a bid placed, a deposit paid, a purchase made or an opportunity missed in reliance on the site, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Intellectual property

The Bidhound name, logo, design and software are ours. The underlying auction notices are the property of their respective issuers and are reproduced as public information.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page, and continued use after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction.
