Refunds and Cancellations

This policy covers the Bidhound subscription, currently Rs 1,999 a year inclusive of GST, billed through Razorpay.

The short version

Refunds

Write to hello@bidhound.xyz within 7 days of a charge and we will refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason. Once approved, the refund is issued to the original payment method through Razorpay and normally reaches you in five to seven working days, depending on your bank.

After 7 days we do not refund the remainder of a paid year. You keep full access until the period you paid for ends.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your account page, or by writing to hello@bidhound.xyz. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end your current period, so your alerts keep working until the day your paid year expires.

Renewals

The subscription renews yearly until you cancel. If a renewal catches you by surprise, tell us within 7 days of the charge and we will refund it in full under the rule above.

When something goes wrong at our end

If the service is materially broken for a sustained period, or alerts you paid for stop being delivered because of a fault on our side, write to us. We will extend your subscription or refund you, whichever you prefer, and we will not hold you to the 7 day window for our own failures.

What is not refundable

We cannot refund anything to do with an auction itself. Bidhound does not run auctions and never holds your deposit or bid money. A deposit paid to a bank or an auction platform is between you and them, under their terms. Losing an auction, or a lot being withdrawn or corrected, is not grounds for a refund of the Bidhound subscription.
